In the process of machining and manufacturing of precision mechanical parts, under the premise of ensuring the quality of parts, it is called the process design of parts that has good comprehensive technical and economic benefit and reasonable and feasible process plan. In the manufacturing process of precision mechanical parts: the process that engineers draw up according to the design drawings, usually the whole process of converting raw materials or semi-finished products into products is called the production process. The machining process of parts is composed of many processes, each of which is composed of work position, step, cutter and installation.


1. Requirements and procedures for formulating process procedures


The process procedure is the technical document which guides the production, the craft procedure must be economical and reasonable. The process procedure of the part is the machining method and step of the part. 

Contents: processing technology (heat treatment, etc.), determining the machine tool (lathe, milling machine, etc.) used in each process, clamping method, measuring method, machining allowance (whether or not to keep the craft foot, etc.), cutting parameters and man-hour quota, etc. Fill in all the contents of the process schedule, this is the process of mechanical processing procedures.


2.  The processing technology analysis of precision mechanical parts, the main content:


Check whether the drawings of parts are complete and correct, and analyze whether the precision, surface integrity and technical requirements of machining main surfaces of precision mechanical parts can be achieved under the existing production conditions. 

Check whether the material selection of parts is appropriate and whether the process will become difficult and complex.

Check the structural workmanship of the parts, check whether the structure of the parts can be economically and effectively processed.
